Analytical principle
1 end: power supply (VCC)
2 end: ground (GND)
3 end: connect with 2
4 end: Signal
When touching no obstacles, signal terminal connects VCC, take the value of the high level, namely 1.
When touching obstacle, the signal terminal connect GND by mechanical switch, take the value of low, namely 0.
Based on the above logic, you can set to the low level when trigger, the microcontroller receives a low level (1), to control the motor stops.
If you use Marlin firmware, Configuration.h not need to ify the appropriate configuration files, keep the default:

Tip: Genarally, the system need at least three mechanical switches.
